FORMER INVESTIGATIONS OF THE FAUNA OF SNAILS (MOLLUSCA, GASTROPODA) IN BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

The short history of investigations of freshwater and land gastropods (Mollusca, Gastropoda) from Bosnia & Herzegovina are presented. The list of known taxa of this group of animals (331 species and subspecies, belonging to 134 genera and 47 families, respectively, from this region are given.

DOSADAŠNJA ISTRAŽIVANJA FAUNE PUŽEVA (MOLLUSCA, GASTROPODA) BOSNE I HERCEGOVINE

Prezentiran je kratak pregled dosadašnjih istraživanja faune slatkovodnih i kopnenih puževa Bosne i Hercegovine. Dat je pregled do sada poznatih taksona ove grupe životinja (330 vrsta i podvrsta iz 134 radova odnosno 47 familija, sa teritorije Bosne & Hercegovine.
