POTENTIAL POSSIBILITIES OF GRBALJ FIELD AS WATER-SUPPLY SYSTEM

Synopsis

Possibilities of Grbalj field, as potential spring of potable water, are investigated. The aim of this paper is to present elements of the existing condition and to define on the base of them the general conditions for exploitation of available water potential of Grbalj field.

Purpose of this paper is to define hydro-geological characteristics of quartenary water area that is the compacted type of aquifer under pressure, which are found in the range of alluvial sediments, as well as to stimulate the research of smaller local springs from the hinterland of the coastal area. It would be a great solution until the regional system for water supply is constructed, which is already planned.

Sinopsis

POTENCIJALNE MOGUĆNOSTI GRBALJSKOG POLJA KAO IZVORIŠTA ZA VODOSNABDEVANJE

Istražene su mogućnosti Grbaljskog polja, kao potencijalnog izvorišta pijaće vode. Cilj rada je da se prikažu elementi postojećeg stanja i na osnovu njih definišu konturni uslovi za eksploataciju raspoloživog vodnog potencijala Grbaljskog polja.

Svrha rada je definisanje hidrogeoloških karakteristika kvartarne vodonosne sredine, odnosno zbijenog tipa izdani pod pritiskom, zastupljenog u okviru aluvijalnih sedimenata, kao i podsticaj istraživanja lokalnih manjih izvorišta iz zaleđa primorskog pojasa, kao dobrog rešenja do izgradnje regionalnog vodovoda, kako je već planirano.
