EXPLOITATION OF OIL, GAS, GROUND AND GEOTHERMAL WATER

WITHIN ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

S i n o p s i s

            Industrial development and limited eco-system possibilities have caused the environmental pollution and its consequences in terms of human health and safety to reach the critical point. Over the last decade, sanctions of the international community, introduced in mid 1992, have caused increasingly intensive use of natural resources, including those under special protection. NATO bombing campaign in 1999 have added up to the environment degradation.

            NIS-Naftagas is fully aware of its role in the national economy and the business environment, and it generally performs its wide range of activities in compliance with the environment management system. Adhering to the sustainable development theory, the company is also getting ready for incorporating ISO 14000 standard series into its quality management system and daily operations.

EKSPLOATACIJA NAFTE, GASA, NADZEMNE I GEOTERMALNE VODE

UNUTAR SISTEMA UPRAVLJANJA SISTEMOM ŽIVOTNE SREDINE

            Industrijski razvoj i ograničene mogućnosti eko sistema izazvale su zagađenje životne sredine, a njegove posljedice u pogledu zdravlja ljudi i bezbjednosti dostigle su kritičnu tačku. Tokom prethodne decenije, sankcije međunarodne zajednice, uvedene polovinom 1992,  izazvale su intenziviranje upotrebe prirodnih resursa, uključujući i one pod posebnom zaštitom. Kampanja NATO bombardovanja 1999. dalje je doprinijela degradaciji životne sredine.

            NIS-Naftagas je u potpunosti svjestan svoje uloge u nacionalnoj privredi i poslovnom okruženju, i generalno sprovodi svoj široki spektar aktivnosti  u skladu sa sistemom upravljanja životnom sredinom. Poštujući teoriju održivog razvoja, kompanija se takođe priprema za uvođenje serije standarda ISO 14000  u svoj sistem upravljanja kvalitetom  i dnevnim operacijama.
