 THE FAUNA OF SELANDRIINAE (TENTHREDINIDAE, SYMPHYTA, HYMENOPTERA)  OF MT. AVALA

(VICINITY OF BELGRADE)

S y n o p s i s

In the course of four-year investigations of the mountain's Symphyta fauna (2000-2003), we established the presence of 115 species classified into eight families and 41 genera. Fifty-seven species were recorded for the first time for the territory of Serbia and Montenegro. This number represents as much as 49.6% of all sawfly species found on Mt. Avala, which indicates how little this group of insects has been studied in our country.

Within the subfamily Selandriinae, 22 species were established on Mt. Avala and nine of them were recorded for the first time for the territory of Serbia and Montenegro.

FAUNA  SELANDRIINAE (TENTHREDINIDAE, SYMPHYTA, HYMENOPTERA)  PLANINE AVALA (U BLIZINI BEOGRADA)

U toku četvorogodišnjih istraživanja (2000. - 2003.) faune Symphyta utvrđeno prisustvo 115 vrsta klasifikovanih u 8 familija i 41 rod.

Za teritoriju Srbije i Crne Gore je po prvi put popisano 57 vrsta koje čine čak 49,6% svih nađenih vrsta biljnih zolja na Avali, što ukazuje na vrlo malu proučenost ove grupe insekata na našoj teritoriji.

U okviru podfamilije Selandriinae utvrđene su 22 vrste pri čemu je devet vrsta po prvi put ustanovljeno za teritoriju Srbije i Crne.
