caryopses and some energy-generating processes during in vitro germination. α-amylase maximum activity was recorded
for the test in the 12th day of germination and for the control in
the 11th day. During the entire in
vitro germination of maize caryopses, α-amylase activity was
characterized by an increase in intensity, not only in the test lot, but also in
the control one. The dynamics of the catalase and acid phosphomonoesterase
activities, both for the test and for the control, follows the evolution
of the respiratory processes during the germination monitored in laboratory
conditions.
In the first part of germination, catalase activity of the test lot
proved more intense than that of the control lot, as a response to the
biological stress due to the influence of rhizobacteria.
With the appearance of radicles, the response to the biological stress
diminishes, as a sign of the adaptation of germinated caryopses to the
inoculated microorganisms.
Key words: Zea mays, germination, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria, α-amylase,
catalase, acid phosphomonoesterase.

procese stvaranja energije tokom klijanja in vitro.
11. dana. Tokom čitavog klijanja in vitro zrna kukurza, aktivnost
Dinamika aktivnosti katalaze i acido fosfomonoesteraze,
katalaza, acid fosfomonoesteraza.
