EVALUATION
OF ONION (Allium cepa L.) GENOTYPES

Evaluated
in the present paper according to the IPGRI descriptor were 37 onion genotypes
(nine lines, nine populations and 19 cultivars). The following traits are
described in the paper: leaf color, leaf length, leaf cross-section, leaf
erectness, presence of leaf wax, bulb skin color and bulb flesh color. Trait
variability was determined by PCA analysis, the results of which indicated great
variability for bulb skin color, bulb flesh color, leaf length and leaf color.
Using the hierarchical method, the onion genotypes were classified into four
groups and 19 genotypes that do not belong in any of the groups but are related
to them at various hiearchical levels.

Sinopsis
U radu je prikazana
evaluacija 37 genotipova crnog luka (devet linija, devet populacija i 19 sorata)
po deskriptoru IPGRI. Prikazane su sledeće osobine: boja lista, dužina
lista, presek lista, položaj lista, prisustvo voštane prevlake, boja suvih i
boja sočnih listova lukovice. Varijabilnost ispitivanih osobina je utvđena
PCA analizom, gde je ustnovljena visoka varijabilnost
za boju suvih i sočnih listova lukovice, dužini lista i boji lista.
Ispitivani genotipovi su hijerarhijskim metodom razvrstani u 4 grupe i 19
genotipova koji ne pripadaju ni jednoj grupi ali su povezani sa ostalim grupama
na različitom hijerarhijskom nivou.
