SEASONAL BIOCENOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF THE MANTOVO RESERVOIR AND THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER KRIVA LAKAVICA

Synopsis

Hydrobiological investigation of the macrozoobenthos at seven localities in Mantovo reservoir and one locality from the mouth of the River Kriva Lakavica were carried out. Seasonal sampling was done from May 2003 to April 2004 from the reservoir and in May 2003 from the river.

Fauna of the Mantovo reservoir is represented with the following groups: Chironomidae, Oligochaeta and Culicidae wich play dominant quantitative role. In certain localities, less significant for benthocoenotic characterisation accidental groups (Gastropoda, Trichoptera, Namatoda and Ceratopogonidae), were sporadically found.

Fauna of the mouth of the River Kriva Lakavica belong to the order Oligochaeta, Gammaridae, Ephemeroptera, Simulidae, Chironomidae, Odonata and Coleoptera.

Sinopsis

SEZONSKA BIOCENOLOŠKA ISTRAŽIVANJA AKUMULACIJE MANTOVO I UŠĆA REKE KRIVE LAKAVICE

Izvršena su biocenološka istaživanja makrozoobentosa sa sedam lokaliteta u akumulaciji Mantovo i sa jednog lokaliteta na ušću reke Krive Lakavice. Sezonsko kolekcioniranje iz akumulacije  izvršeno je od maja 2003. do aprila 2004, a iz reke u maju 2003.

Faunu dna akumulacije Mantovo čine sledeće grupe: Chironomidae, Oligochaeta i Culicidae, koje imaju dominantnu kvantitativnu ulogu. U nekim od ispitivanih lokaliteta, manje značajne za karakteristike bentocenoze, sporadično su nađene ove grupe: (Gastropoda, Trichoptera, Nematoda and Ceratopogonidae). 

Faunu sa ušća reke čine sledeće grupe: Oligochaeta, Gammaridae, Ephemeroptera, Simulidae, Chironomidae, Odonata and Coleoptera.
