THE FLORA OF WETLANDS OF NIKSIC VALLEY
(MONTENEGRO)
The
diversity and seasonal varying of ecological factors have caused the diversity
of the flora and vegetation of Niksic Valley. However, except for J. Pancic and
J. Rohlena who only passed through this area at the end of the nineteenth
century and collected scarce material from dry habitats, a detailed research of
the flora and vegetation of this area has not been done. During the research
work of wetlands of Niksic Valley in the period 2000-2003, 119 plant species
that appear in distinct wetlands were registrated. As the previous data refer
only to dry habitats, the results of our research represent the first data about
the flora of wetlands of Niksic Valley.

FLORA VLAŽNIH STANIŠTA NIKŠIĆKE ŽUPE
Raznovrsnost
i sezonsko variranje ekoloških faktora uslovili su i raznovrsnost flore i
vegetacije Nikšičske Župe. Medjutim, osim Josipa Pančića i
Josefa Rohlene, koji su ovim područjem samo prošli krajem XIX veka i
sakupili oskudan materijal sa suvih staništa, detaljnija istraživanja flore i
vegetacije nisu vršena. Tokom istraživanja vlažnih staništa Nikšićske
Župe u periodu 2000-2003. konstatovano je 119 vrsta biljaka, koje se javljaju
na izrazito vlažnim staništima. Kako se raniji
podaci odnose samo na suva staništa, rezultati naših istraživanja
predstavljaju prve podartke o flori vlažnih staništa Nikšićke Župe.
