You have in view the second volume of the scientific-popular, electronic journal "Natura Montenegrina".It is our pleasure to know that the first volume of the publication has been well accepted, both in the scientific community and in the public.

This publication continues to  publish:

·     original scientific and professional articles in the field of biology, geology, agriculture, environmental protection and other, close ones

·     scientific-popular contributions

·     information on events significant for the field it treats

·     surveys

·     presentation of programs of the sponsors, financial assistance of which has  significantly facilitated issue of this publication.

 The novelty in the volume 2/2003 is the column »To the Nature with a Camera, consisting of  an interesting, good quality photograph from the nature, with the most essential data on the object and the author of the photograph.

In the volume 2/2003 the Editorial Board has deviated from the principle of the »equality« of the languages. It is the wish of the publisher to have the scientific part of the publication presented in the English Language, which has become the »language of science«, recognized throughout the world. Nevertheless, since we have accepted to publish a certain number of older papers, which have not been published owing to the  problems which emerged from dismounting of the SFRY and  and the transition processes, »Natura Montenegrina« vol. 2/2003 is a completely bilingual edition. As of the volume 3/2004 the articles in the scientific and professional part will be published exclusively in English, whereas the rest of the publication will remain bilingual. We will continue distributing »Natura Montenegrina« through the international exchange of publications, which we consider to be the most favorable in science.

»Natura Montenegrina»  will   keep running as an annual edition.
