U toku jednogodišnjeg istraživanja epifitona na Plavnici (avgust 1997. - jul 1998. godine) identifikovano je ukupno 110 taksona silikatnih algi na ispitivanim vodenim makrofitama. Obrađena je i autekologija pojedinih taksona silikatnih algi.

STRUCTURE AND SEASONAL DYNAMICS OF EPIPHYTIC DIATOM COMMUNITIES ON THE  PLAVNICA  (SKADAR LAKE)

Epiphytic diatoms of dominating species of the aquatic macrophytes in Lake Skadar, were studied from August 1997 to uly 1998 on the Plavnica. The total number of 110 taxa of diatoms were identified during this investigation. There are some data in this paper  about autecology of the most abundant diatom taxa on the Plavnica.
