The Collection of Insects counts over 4000 exhibits, out of which the largest number are the Syrphidae – wasp like flies (over 2000 specimens) and Formicidae – ants (over 1500 samples of nests) collected on the territory of Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia. Other groups have been presented in smaller number. One part of the material has been taxonomically determined, whereas the remaining ones are to be treated. |

Mr Suzana MALIDŽAN (=Brajović) I was born on 2. September 1973. in Zenica, at that time’s Yugoslav Republic Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I completed elementary and grammar school education. I graduated from The Faculty of Science in Podgorica, Department of Biology in February 1996, with average grade 8.93. In the same year I was employed in Natural History Museum of Montenegro in Podgorica, as a curator in The Collection of Insects. In 1997 I was admitted to postgraduate studies, on The Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, Department - Biology, major - taxonomy. Research field: wasplike flies (family Syrphidae, Diptera).
