	The Collection of Birds in Natural History Museum of Montenegro has 250, primarily dermoplastic stuffed birds, mainly from the expanse of Montenegro, mainly Skadar Lake. Half of Museum’s objects are the remainders of old collection of birds of Republican Institute for Nature Protection, the rest are more recent exhibits. Remarkable in the old collection are the four stuffed Dalmatian Pelicans (Pelecanus crispus, Bruch) from Skadar Lake, as well as the second sample of African Cuckoo (Clamator glandarius L.) caught in Montenegro. The core of future exotic birds collection is composed of two stuffed African Ostriches (Strutio camellus).

Andrej VIZI Born in Podgorica, 01.02.1980. Graduated on the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Biology Department, ecology group in 2005. Postgraduate studies in Biodiversity group. Master thesis: "The influence of birds from order Pelecaniformes during the breeding season on the fish fauna of Skadar lake", Podgorica, 2009. Curator in the bird collection since 2006. Projects: IBA identification ornithological camp “Birds For Future”, 2006; “Monitoring of breeding bird species species on Skadar Lake”, 2006-2008; “Monitoring of birds for prevention of avian influenza” 2006-2007, IWC on Skadar Lake 2006-2008; “FP7 Researchers’ night” 2009; “Bird ringing on Skadar Lake”, 2009-2010.
