Work on the Collection of Antophytes and Ferns started in 1999. The greatest attention has been paid to high mountainous flora. This way the largest number of specimens was collected from the area of the Middle Dinarids (Babji zub, Moračke Mountains, Komovi) as well as from the Prokletije (Visitor, Maja Kolata, Kotlovi, Maja Jezerce).

So far over 1000 taxons have been collected on the level of species; material is in the stage of treatment and soon it will be deposited in the Collection of the Museum

Mr SNEŽANA VUKSANOVIĆ

I was born on 10 January 1969 in Vrbas. I completed elementary and grammar school education in Podgorica, ex Titograd. In 1998 I graduated from The Faculty of Science - Department of Biology, with average grade 8.90. In January 1999 I started working in Natural History Museum of Montenegro as a curator in The Collection of Antophytes. In the same year I was admitted to postgraduate studies on Biological Faculty of University in Belgrade, Major – Systematic and Phylogeny of Plants and Fungi. My master thesis deals with the investigations of flora of southeastern parts of Sinjavina Mountain

NADA N. BUBANJA

I was born in Nikšić, in 1975. I graduated from The Faculty of Science in Podgorica - Department of Biology in Podgorica in 2000. I have worked in Natural History Museum as a curator in The Collection of Antophytes since 2000. I was admitted to postgraduate studies on Biological Faculty in Belgrade - major plant ecology. I am presently engaged in specialist work regarding the periodically inundated meadows of Nikšićka Župa.
